Disney has confirmed the return of one of its tastiest traditions — and it’s serving up a long run in 2025. The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival officially begins 29th August 2025, running through 23rd November. This makes it the perfect excuse for extra visits during late summer and autumn at Walt Disney World.

Here’s a quick flavour of what’s coming:

  • 25+ Global Marketplaces: From returning favourites to new flavours, expect menus packed with festival-exclusive dishes and drinks from around the world. More booths will be added as the festival continues into the autumn months.

  • Eat to the Beat Concert Series: Nightly live performances at the America Gardens Theatre will return, with a full concert line-up to be released closer to the festival.

  • Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak: A fun scavenger hunt around World Showcase perfect for kids (or competitive adults 👀).

  • Emile’s Fromage Montage: A returning favourite where guests can sample cheese dishes to earn a special festival treat.

  • Festival-exclusive merchandise: Keep your eyes out for limited-time items tied to the Food and Wine Festival — perfect for collectors or those who just love themed goodies.

✨ Why This Matters for Trip Planning

If you're heading to Walt Disney World between late August and late November, this event is automatically part of your EPCOT visit — no separate ticket is needed.

The later start date (compared to previous years) means:

  • Less overlap with the busy summer season.

  • A bigger push for autumn visitors.

  • A more manageable park atmosphere in those early days.

It’s especially ideal for UK visitors looking for slightly quieter travel windows with lots still happening.

📝 Tips for Making the Most of the Festival

  • Plan Your EPCOT Day(s) Around the Booths: Many lines get long by mid-afternoon.

  • Use Snack Credits if You're on the Disney Dining Plan: Many items qualify!

  • Split Dishes to Try More: Portions can be surprisingly filling.

  • Check the Entertainment Schedule: Live music acts range from local bands to well-known names.

  • Grab a Festival Passport: On entry to keep track of dishes and experiences.

🎄 Bonus: Food & Wine Meets Christmas

With the event running until 23rd November, it overlaps slightly with the start of the Christmas season at Walt Disney World. You might just catch two seasonal offerings in one trip - Food & Wine by day, festive lights by night!
